Red Pepper likes Treasure Islands

Posted by: Nick Shaxson in: Thoughts

From Red Pepper: a review of Treasure Islands:

Put down this magazine now and rush to your local library or closest bookshop and get your hands on perhaps the most important book to appear in recent years for those who care about social justice.

I can’t find a link yet – but it’s a very, very nice review. (I should add, though, that I am not a “Financial Times journalist” as the review puts it but a journalist who has written frequently for the Financial Times. I haven’t done very much for them recently; my last one was an op-ed in April here.)

I enjoyed your book.

I am currently working on a project about the situation of Uruguay, so I can appreciate how difficult it must have been to obtain your information.

keep up the good work

Are you writing about Uruguay as a tax haven? Would be very interested to receive a copy of the article when published. Note its position on the Financial Secrecy Index – number 30

Nick, for your information, I wrote some kind words about your book in AgendaNI, a local business-public affairs mag:

Keep up the good work.
