UK Uncut to block Westminster Bridge in NHS protest

Posted by: Nick Shaxson in: Thoughts

From UK Uncut:

“On Sunday 9th October, just three days before the Lords vote, join UK Uncut in a spectacular act of mass civil disobedience to block the bill. By blocking Westminster Bridge we symbolically block the bill from getting from Parliament to our hospitals. Yes, it will be disruptive. Yes, it will stop the traffic. But this is an emergency and we have to shout as loud as we can.”

Everybody has the right to protest and I would fight to the death to protect that right. However, however, however, – better use of time and effort in my view can be made in asking what has happened to the very large sums of money spent on the now abandoned NHS IT programme. Where is that money resting now. To give just one example.
Has there been fraud? Is there evidence to support such an allegation?
